Per verse: ① Listen 3× (Loop button — recite along by the 2nd play). ② Read-recite aloud 5× with the text visible; open Meaning once. ③ Fade ladder: recite at 30% hidden → 50% → 70% → 100%, aloud, filling gaps from memory. ④ The gate: at 100% hidden, recite the verse correctly 3 times in a row — no peeking, no long hesitation. Clean 3-in-a-row → next verse. Any stumble → counter resets.
Linking: after every 3–4 verses, chain from memory: verse 1+2, then 1+2+3, adding one each pass (Chains tab drills the seams). When the whole page chains cleanly 3×, run the 🏁 Whole-page test.
Review: every day, do whatever the Test tab shows as DUE — grade honestly. This is what prevents forgetting.
Prayer: recite each new page in your voluntary prayers the same night and for 7 consecutive days. A page isn't yours until it survives ṣalāh.
Daily shape (60–90 min): reviews first (10–15 min) → one new page by the protocol (45–60 min) → that page in your prayers tonight. Recite aloud in every step. Verify your recitation with a teacher.
Step 1 of the protocol: Listen 3× per verse (🔁 Loop — recite along by the 2nd play), then read-recite aloud 5× with the text visible. Open 📖 Meaning once. Then move to Fade.
This IS the memorization. Climb the ladder per verse: 30% → 50% → 70% → 100%, reciting aloud and filling gaps from memory. The gate: at 100%, three clean recitations in a row → verse done. Any stumble resets the count.
First letters only. Reconstruct aloud. Tap a word to reveal.
Linking: after every 3–4 memorized verses, chain from memory — 1+2, then 1+2+3, adding one per pass. This tab drills the seams where chains break. Full page chains cleanly 3× → run the 🏁 Whole-page test.

The page as one unit — like your physical mushaf. Photograph its shape with your eyes: where each verse sits, what starts and ends the page. Then raise the slider and recite the whole page as continuous flow, from memory, tapping any word to peek. This view is what you'll see in your mind while reciting in prayer.
